Behr sees strong growth in engine cooling
But North American operations in loss and restructuring
Leading European air-conditioning and heating exchange supplier, Behr GmbH & Co KG, managed to gain further market share in its major markets in 2007 with sales up 6.1% to €3.4bn in 2007. In local currencies, the growth was stronger, with an increase of 8.2%. Growth was strongest in Asia (plus 37.9%) and other regions outside Europe and North America (up 15.8% in total), while European sales grew 7% to €2.2bn, and sales in North America fell. Behr’s home operations saw sales growth of 5.4% to €1bn.
