BMW and Daimler planning to save costs by combined component purchasing
Further problems for small-sized suppliers on the horizon
BMW and Daimler are mulling over buying components together in order to save costs. The joint purchasing operations could include industrial buying in countries such as China and the US. The carmakers are also considering the possibility of buying a 7% stake in each other.
