OESA Auto Supplier Index reflects positive attitude of suppliers as GM and Chrysler emerge from bankruptcy
Working Capital overstated with auto suppliers healthier than anticipated
A recent Original Equipment Supplier Equipment Association (OESA) Automotive Supplier Index shows the positive attitude of suppliers in the current economic slowdown. The supplier attitude measured by OESA Automotive Supplier Sentiment Index increased to 62% from a low 34% as GM and Chrysler emerged from bankruptcy. This was the first time since August 2007 that the OESA Automotive Supplier Sentiment Index reached 50.
